This April the training course “From Small Steps to Big Changes: Tackling discrimination in everyday life”, co-funded by the Erasmus + programme, took place in Antwerp! Activists from 9 European countries came together to share their experience and learn more about the different types and levels of discrimination,  and different methods to tackle it!

All good things come to an end, even EVS projects! The time has come to say goodbye to our EVS volunteer in Greece - Ika. Read what this experience meant for her in this short interview.

It’s time to apply for Branching out: (re)connecting ideas project! The idea of the project is to partner up locally and organize summer activities that bring your local community in contact with refugees and asylum seekers, using volunteering and intercultural dialogue as a tool for empowerment.

Evaluation conference of the No Hate Speech movement gathered around 150 participants that were in some way involved in the campaign since 2012, such as the representatives of the national campaign committees and support groups; online activists; European partners; national and regional authorities; educational professional and youth activists from many different countries. Conference was a place to look back at all the achievements, activities and materials that were created and to draw a conclusion after consulting all the present parties.

Led by the idea that small mountain communities and their local organizations face similar challenges when it comes to environmental and social issues, several organizations from the Balkans combined efforts into implementing international volunteer activities.
