Sooriya is one of those volunteers within SCI who moved along the way, in his case from Asia (Sri Lanka) to Europe (Catalonia). His specific interest is in 2020 at the moment, therefore he is an active member of SCI’s 2020-team. 

On the 17th of March a training called “Mentorem By?” (To be a Mentor) took place in Pozna?, Poland. It was part of the program “What’s out there?” and was made by One World Association - SCI Poland.

International Volunteers for Peace (IVP) recruited eight volunteers from four countries to help the Goulburn Show Committee with set-up and pack-up for the Goulburn Agricultural Pastoral & Horticultural Show (Goulburn Show).  This is one of the main events on the local calendar as it is a place where local farmers and producers demonstrate their skills and compete for prizes with the best produce and animals as well as arts and crafts.  The show committee really appreciated the help from the willing volunteers as well as enjoying the interaction and cultural learning experience.

For the fourth consecutive year the Refugee Project, a project run by CVS-Bulgaria and Caritas Sofia, organised a charity fun run “Baba Marta Burzala 4” in Borisova Garden, Sofia.
