Posted by projects on Mar 22

Peers to Peace has started! This month, our Peers to Peace team are ready to give a drive for the project. Planning ahead for our first event the Peer University and upcoming events! We are now calling for participants and a facilitator at the Peer University.

Peer University in Poland, 27 May – 2 June 2017

The Peer University is going to be held from 27th May to 2nd June, 2017 in Poland. It will gather key-representatives from 24 SCI branches, they will have a chance to meet at the first activity of the Peers to Peace project: experienced SCI volunteers, board members, office coordinators, staff members and activists who are motivated to share their experience and learn from others. For more information about the event and application, see call for participants.

We are currently looking for a motivated facilitator for the Peer University on volunteer management in the frame of the ‘Peers to Peace’ project of the Service Civil International. If you are interested to join our team, please apply by 27th March at assistance@sci.ngo.

Focus Groups for Olives Platform

On 16th March we organised a small focus group with different key SCI representatives to ask for feedback on the Olives Platform - an online tool we want to bring alive during the Peers to Peace project. The aims of this platform are to facilitate knowledge flow in SCI, to speed up the learning curve of new people, to retain the experience of old members and to stimulate cooperation between organizations. Sounds useful to you? Stay tuned for more information on the Olives Platform.

The Peers to Peace project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme and aims at fostering Peer learning and Peer support for Capacity Building in international volunteer work.
