We are talking a lot about funding today, but this time we'd like to introduce you to one of the three funds available from SCI!
SCI's Disaster Relief Fund is available for SCI’s branches, groups and working groups in order to carry out projects of immediate support after a natural disaster or mid/long term projects which include voluntary work with direct and indirect benefits for the local population and ecosystem. Possible areas of work are for example natural disaster relief activities, knowledge sharing and financial support to the affected communities.

The past 2 months have absolutely flown by and today we say best wishes and thank you to our second EVS volunteer as part of the Global Volunteer Action project! We are sad to see Carmen go but we know that as an active member of SCI Malaysia she will always be in touch and hopefully after being part of the Exchange Platform Meeting prep-team this year, she will be motivated to take part and support more international events on the SCI calendar!
